Warning: Spoilers
I was searching for this movie on here under the title that I know it, Wolf at the Door. Quite frankly I have never heard of this other title, but it is the same movie.

This is a really neat film that I saw years ago and had not been able to see it for years due to the fact it is not available in most rental places, so I bought a copy on Ebay.(It was hard to find there, too.) Anyway, the movie is about the artist Gauguin, after having lived with Van Gogh. It is basically a look into a brief period in his life where he really wants to get back to Tahiti. There is art featured in the film, and the set is true to the life and times of the period. A great film.

Donald Sutherland really was born to play the role. It is interesting to see him then and now, 20 years later, on that new show on TV, and his son on 24. They look very much alike. Also, Donalds' voice is veeeery distinct. There is probably more to say but I don't have time right now. If you can see it, please do.
