Species III (2004 TV Movie)

Species 3: A Sci Fi Pictures Original
30 December 2005
I'm about half way through it, so let me guess:

1.

By the end of the movie there might be one member of the original cast who remains alive.

2.

Once again the mad scientist who wants to save the monster for science is killed by the monster.

3.

After the monster is killed the second or third time around, that is, just when you think it surely must be dead, there's going to be a little teaser at the end just in case there's the slightest interest in a Species 4. I expect an endless supply of half-breed monsters will keep coming to the conclusion.

4.

Lest I forget, very few are really taken by surprise. Most victims just seem to ask for it.

In an unusual twist, I notice that the mad scientist who wants to save the species for science has enlisted a co-conspirator, as opposed to the usual grotesque assistant, terrorized wage slave, or ignorant servant. He will be punished for wanting notoriety.

As disgusting as many of the dissection scenes are, the obvious use of plastic and red syrup inhibits nausea.

The most lasting memory I will have of this movie is the damage it does to the good name of Sarah Lee; and possibly the fact that the only reason I am bothering to watch it is I haven't seen it before and the other movie about a submarine and a decoder machine I like a lot better is playing twice in a row, so I won't have to miss the ending.

PS: I gave to admit that while writing this the mad scientist has already been killed by the monster and now it's all up to the co-conspirator or his young, good looking roommate.
