i guess i must have been one of the lucky ones to have viewed "Cindy" on television in the late '70's. i knew the name of the movie, couldn't remember how old i was when i saw it, but i did remember that i enjoyed this movie immensely!!
i remember, as a child, i would tape record things off of the television that i knew i would enjoy, and then i would play the cassette over and over again, memorizing the words and/or songs.
"Cindy" was my most favorite of all!!! As a child, i'd always loved Disney's Cinderella, but me being a little black girl, "Cindy" was a little more believable. The movie had such an impact on me!! I am 42 years old now, and i still have fond memories of this movie.
