So OK it's the same stuff over and over with the teenagers and the "drama" etc. etc. but Laguna Beach is what it is. Don't read into it too deeply...it's a fun little show on MTV so who cares! I'm definitely not saying there aren't bigger problems in life than who's hooking up with who and what kind of car you drive, but for an escape from reality this is just like any other TV show. It does the job. My advice is to not take it too seriously. Have a laugh. Imagine a place that's sunnier than where you may be. Imagine a place where those types of issues are the only issues (must be nice!). Who remembers what it's like to be a teenager and be in love and gossiping and driving around? It's not that foreign of a concept even if where they live is ten times more gorgeous and they trade in their Isuzu's for BMWs. That's why it's a TV show. Just entertainment!
