I've had a bit of a horror session this weekend after not being able to sit down and watch any decent films for months. Before sitting down to waste an hour and a half of my life I watched Hostel. So did the director of this truly bad film. I thought the cinematography with the bleached look and jerks did lend it an arty gravitas until I remembered Eli Roth had been there and done it all before - only with more gore and plots that actually made sense. There was no explanation as to why anything was happening. And when you thought you'd figured out who the Fisherman was they just lucked out with a shark-jumping "Oh it's the guy from 10 years ago" excuse. Derivative would be a term that would flatter this film. Don't even download it let alone rent or buy it.
