*Dracula: SPOILED And Loving It*
This is a screwball version of the Dracula legend, as told by Bram Stoker and Martin Scorsese; Dracula (Leslie Nielsen) and his inept assistant, Renfield (Peter MacNicol) come to England and mess up the life of soon-to-be-married Jonathan Harker (Steven Weber) and Mina (Amy Yasbeck) and their friends, with hilariously scary results...
This makes a pair with Mel Brooks' earlier foray into spoofing horror classics: Young Frankenstein, and is almost as good, even if one or two of the gags fall a little flat; especially good is the sequence where Dracula hypnotizes both Mina and her guardian Bessie, causing mishaps of every kind - 'Mina, that is the closet', 'You get up, not you, you' etc...
So, I say rent this and you won't be disappointed.
Dracula: Dead And Loving It: 7/10.
