Unlike the other person who commented on this movie I loved it. I'm not a separatist. I actually despise those who are separatists. I just find that the movie is funny. I mean honestly who doesn't find a man a swearing after a car funny. I agree that some of the jokes get stretched out beyond where they should and that there is a separatist intent but it's still worth watching. The success of the film is likely for the same reason as the success of the Québec television series "Les Bougons". It stereotypes the common uneducated person who lives in Québec. What makes it funny is how absurd it is.
Now one last thing, do watch this movie but if you've seen this installment, you won't like the 3rd installment. It's all the same jokes. One time is funny, twice is just annoying. Don't watch the third movie.
