I loved the era for the setting of the story. The acting, singing, dancing are wonderful to behold and this version of "Cinderella" is great because it shows that "true" love and happiness is not necessarily about $$, as are most other versions but, about what is in one's heart. It has a bit of comedy, which is appealing for the era in which it is set. I look at this musical often; (I copied it from TV (A&E) in 94/95) and enjoy it each time I view it. I want my children and grandchildren to realize what a classic this particular Musical really is.
It is shameful that the "Industry" has not endeavored to put this Musical in a VHS/DVD format for sale/rent so that those who wish to rent/purchase it might do so. I am sure with today's technology that doing so should not be a problem.
