Falafel (2006)
8/10
Nice movie, Great supporting Cast, but..

Warning: Spoilers
Lebanese film industry is still struggling in the birth stage. It was fun for a change to see a Lebanese movie portraying the "post war" phase in Lebanon, with some clever jokes at the beginning of the movie.

The storyline of the movie then evolves to be a really dark image of what you can consider as modern day Lebanon with all of the security leak.

Also, I was surprised by the presence of great Lebanese stars as "Rafiq Ali Ahmad" and "Ammar Shalaq" in small but effective parts of the plot, which they appeared only for few minutes.

In addition to that, there was a kind of a "montage" mistake in one of the scenes at the bathroom, when the lead role character escaped from the bathroom, the escape scene itself appeared before about 10 minutes of his escaping!!

Its also worth to mention that the accompanying music by "Toufic Farroukh" is really great.

Overall I can say that I enjoyed watching this movie, but I was little bit disappointed because I was expecting more from it.
