I watched it because Gerard Butler was in it, but I thought the movie was terrible. Sara deserted Sam seven years earlier. It was selfish and cruel of her to come back and destroy his marriage. Charlotte put it best when she told Sam that Sara did not care anything about him when she was healthy. Charlotte loved and married Sam in good faith. If Sam was still in love with Sara, then he should never have married Charlotte. Sam betrayed Charlotte and his marriage when he pushed Charlotte aside to be with Sara. Sam got what he deserved in the end when he came home after the funeral to find his belongings packed and set outside his door. Sara had left Sam alone and broken hearted seven years earlier and came back to leave him alone and broken hearted again. Sara was a very unsympathetic character, Sam was a fool, and Charlotte should have kicked Sam out a lot earlier in the movie.
