The film is mainly interesting for being a Dutch production that spends a lot of time in the U.S., in New York City. Other than that, the story isn't really that deep or involving, and often it can be an effort to like the title character.
However, on the plus side, you have the actor Michiel Huisman, who plays the boyfriend Philene follows to America to "check up on" (stalk); the movie is very generous with the male nudity, and you get to see lots of him in the raw, front and back. He's a little skinny, but his nice rear end is a treat to look at and helps while away a few minutes of the movie. Thank goodness for foreign films!
