Saw this video promoted on CBS morning show last week. I searched the internet and ordered it through its producer Fogware. Seems that the folks at CBS never saw this poorly directed video. OK, so heres my good bad and ugly about this educational video. First I think that the approach this director and writer has taken was confusing. The good news is that there are some inspired animations and a few of the animated scenes are indeed charming. But they are few and far between. As a simple educational tool this video falls very short of even beginning to explain any mysteries of shooting stars! Perhaps the writer should have studied other educational videos or simply watched a few Bill Nye the science guy shows. The head of this little studio claims they will have a feature film in release in five years, which should be long enough to have learned from this mistake! Good animation, Bad story and ugly direction!
