A friend turned me on to this DVD as a gift for my nieces. The hardest thing is to find something that will keep a child's attention. I found the colors and music of the animation get the kids attention right off the bat. Then they go from animation to live action. Where we not only meet other kids and what they think shooting stars are but also Dr Iz and his IZ-o-meter with his rhyming expiation of what shooting stars are. My favorite part of this DVD is the extras. One give a more detailed version for older kids with a passion for knowledge about space. Another is a fun music video that give the kids a chance to get up and dance while they learn the Izzatronic dance.
