I hired this movie because of the cover. It displayed a picture of a jaguar ( I love cats) and Richard Dreyfuss. Wasn't expecting much, seeing he is a great actor and I hadn't heard of the title. From the start of the movie I was hooked! I didn't care about seeing the Jaguar, I just wanted to know what was coming next. Antonio's reading of the book and the quote about "the impassioned kiss" was just.....hook-able. Scenery....unbelievable.....I would love to go there! I don't think it was slow. You certainly don't want to be in the mood for action when watching this. All actors were superb. Can't remember it being at the cinemas! Why? Maybe a re-release is in order:)
