When I first saw this flick I had been quite a fan of Superman from childhood but I really had 4gotten or didn't take any notice of the fact that Lois Lane was the traditional heartthrob of Clark Kent. Could be because I had just watched the comic a couple of times.This made the seeming romance of Lana Lang and Clark Kent 2 get into my head and I wanted so badly 4 them to end up Together,thats why the dumbness portrayed by them (or Clark)sacrificing their love in order 2 protect the other really gave an unpleasant taste.Lois lane doesn't seem a great character to be caring enough for Clark Kent to be his girlfriend.
But still,I'd hoped by now we'd be getting closer to the Clark/Lois romance level.But the writers still try so hard to keep us glued to the old story with this Episode.On its own,this is a great story but it would have done a lot better if it had been in the third or fourth seasons.Too bad this can't be inserted into any of those.
A great story but not a great inclusion.It did well to downsize this season.I'd give it a 7/10.
