You're all missing the point.

Steve Wilkos isn't trying to "help" the myriad abusers on his show as all of you seem to think he should. There's absolutely no reason for him to give any aid to those people; his self-proclaimed mission is to help the helpless. Try not to get so caught up in fixing the rapist that you forget about helping the rape victim. As for the show being fake, what's the difference one way or the other? Honestly? It's entertaining to watch. If you can't maintain an emotional distance and (if necessary) suspend your disbelief for an hour, why are you even watching TV? Surely you watched professional wrestling (or as I like to call it, "wrastlin'") at some point in your childhood, and a good chunk of America watches Family Guy. If you're one of those people that get offended by both things, LIGHTEN UP!!! It's entertainment. Basically what I'm trying to say is this: if you're not being entertained by your entertainment, quit whining and change the damn channel.
