Alfalfa's song ruins the film.

Warning: Spoilers
Porky's family needs to pay the rent so the gang stage a circus.

One of the too many Our Gang films from MGM that are basically excuses to put on small scale musicals. Here the setting is a circus, which once things get going swamp the whole point of paying the rent. Forgive me if I'm nitpicking but so many of these films are too short for what they are and yet MGM turned out a good number of them that are little more than just musical filler. To be honest the who circus routine is really good and very amusing, making this one of the better MGM films, but the whole thing collapses for yet another Alfalfa song, a rendition pf The Man on the Flying Trapeze that just goes on way too long. My advice is turn it off once he starts singing and you'll come away liking this film.
