Rob Reiner at his height as Meathead on All In The Family hosts with his wife, Penny Marshall (previous to Laverne & Shirley). There is no musical guest, & Reiner starts the show doing his imitation of a Lounge Lizard singer wearing a massive wig.

John Belushi does a musical sequence which is a preview of the physical comedy that he would do in Animal House, but is not as effective here as he would be later in the movie.
