This was the film that made Salman Khan a huge star, and he deservedly won the filmfare best male debut award for this. Lets start off with the performances. Salman Khan is fantastic; his role in the movie could only have been played by him - no other top actor could have pulled it off. Bhagyashree was also great and it is unfortunate that she didn't star in many films.The actors and actresses in supporting roles also played their part in making this film a great one. The film explores the themes of love and friendship and, because of this, it is a great family film - you can watch it whenever you want. It is one of those evergreen ones. The music is great and I can't say which two tracks are the best of the bunch because they're all great.
