"Happythankyoumoreplease" is a refreshing comedy drama about contemporary people. Each of the main characters is different in many ways, and yet they are united by their search for love. It is an upbeat and positive film without being silly or over-sweet. It is welcoming to see Malin Ackerman finally having a credible role, and she shines as a woman whose appearance is different. I like the way she brings up gratitude, and if gratitude is made a prominent theme in the film (which could easily fit into the film's existing plot), it would have been even more engaging and positive.
