Trailer Park Boys has evolved into the greatest form of comedy known to television the world over.
26 May 2011
Mike Clattenburg, director and producer of the show, didn't just create the greatest comical mockumentary in television history. He set a new standard in comedy and television period! It is almost incomprehensible to see how the show has evolved over the years to the outrageously addictive comedy that it is today. What started as a black and white low budget film about two uneducated, drug dealing felons from a trailer park having a camera crew document their lives has become Canada's greatest television series of all time. Season one added several new residents to the Nova Scotia trailer park known as Sunnyvale. I can't say season one was all that good but it did do a good job of introducing the characters and preparing you for the highly addictive, mind altering, hypnotic seasons to come. By the time you have watched all seven episodes of the second season, you are hooked and have to see seasons 3-7, the season 8 special, both movies (The Big Dirty and Countdown to Liquor Day), and whatever else you can find about The Trailer Park Boys. From the pilot to the last movie and Hearts of Dartsmouth to the Darkest One music video by Tragically Hip starring Julian, Ricky, and Bubbles, you will be captivated and convinced of the new standard in comedy that is The Trailer Park Boys.
