According to IMDb, this short was held for 1 year before finally being released. I am not sure why, as it seemed like a decent little short--and far better than some Our Gang shorts shown just before it.
The kids are helping a nice old man with a lemonade wagon. However, when the wagon thoughtlessly pulls up in front of a lunch counter (thus taking away business), the owner and his bratty son both make life hard for the lemonade man. But, thanks to Spanky, they come up with a great idea and help out the wagon. But, the bratty boy isn't about to let the lemonade stand make money--even if they do move down the street. Can the gang somehow help their friend or will the bratty boy have the last laugh (what do you think?!)? There is a cute scene with a marching band and Buckwheat practically steals the show early on with his adorable antics. My only misgivings were at the end--which seemed a bit, well,...stupid. But an otherwise clever and enjoyable short.
