*Spoiler/plot- 1976, A young orphan girl lives through the seedier part of being a starlet in Hollywood and accomplishes her goal with being an icon of the times.

*Theme- Marilyn Monroe had it hard becoming a new movie star.
*Trivia/location/goofs- Rated 'R' for female frontal nudity and sexual situations. A Marilyn Monroe look-alike was to star in this film but director relented and got a bad actress. Look for Hollywood columnists, James Bacon to appear in a cameo appearance as a beauty contest judge. "Boom microphone" makes an appearance in some of the indoor shots at the top of the film frame. Nice use of historic places, clothes, and cars in this film.
