Since the time I saw the trailer, and I saw marion cotillard was in it, I was so looking forward this movie. the premise was promising: a boxer who doesn't has his life together is with his son, and he encounters a beautiful woman who has horrible accident, after which they bonded a relationship.
the movie just puts one thing to happen after another. no reasons behind each occurrence, no building up emotion whatsoever, even the flow doesn't make sense. conflicts happen here and there. the only thing saved this movie was a cinematic directing, superb cinematography, and endearing acting by Marion Cotillard and Mathias.
