This was a short at the end of a DVD and it was so worth waiting for. Monty Banks plays a groom who is about to get married. In fact, he has the marriage license just about in hand. Apparently, he's had a bachelor party the night before and when his fiancée rings him, he can't find the phone, but there's several other guys sleeping it off. The landlady suspects that some hijinks have gone on and looks to investigate. Monty figures things out pretty quickly. Luckily for him, one of the gentlemen sleeping it off is in a policeman's uniform and Monty has him pretend he's arrested everybody in the room. Not too long after that, his larger neighbor gets a note from his sweetheart to please keep her dog. The apartment complex doesn't allow dogs, so he stashes it in Monty's room. About that time Monty's fiancée shows up and sees the note and tells Monty he must get rid of the dog. For much of the film, Monty tries everything he can think of to try to get rid of it, but he can't. Toward the end of the film, the neighbor shows up for the dog. By that time, Monty has put the dog on a train. His fiancée insists that he get the dog back, so he goes chasing after the train. Next is a title card that says "One year later". Monty did finally catch the dog and you see him, in tattered shirt and pants and carrying a shepherd's crook with the dog, the dogs mate and some puppies in tow... I'll let you see what happens when he finally gets back with the dog family in tow. I will tell you it's worth it to seek out.
