The episode excludes Kat, who is away visiting somebody. Jim has a big role in this episode as the adult in charge. He has to be pretty firm with both Little Twin (who insists on being called by his correct name) and Amy.
Though there is a tornado, that's not the main point of this episode. The tornado, by the way, is pretty fake-looking and a bit ill-contrieved. But I don't think the tornado is nearly as bad as the fake bear that is trapped inside a cave with Big Twin and Clayt. At eighteen, Clayt still has a lot to learn - like shooting rifles in caves...
Jim's a pretty sweet parent in this one. While Clayt does a lot of yelling when he's saying no, Jim has a way of being firm without raising his voice.
