Outstanding indie short biopic

Warning: Spoilers
Fans of the Askiewniverse and Kevin Smith's SMODCO pod-casts know Jason Mewes' life story so far pretty well. His life is full of humor and tragedy. Watching the trailer first, I assumed this would be a retelling of Mewes' struggles with addiction to heroin and oxycontin. Yet it's an entirely different story. While Mewes' battles with addiction are a compelling story, the makers of this film instead choose to focus on redemption. It was a bit of a shocker for me, but I applaud their choice. They cobbled together a beautiful story on an obviously low budget. The viewer can see this is a love letter to a little gang of friends from New Jersey who have had great influence on a whole generation of creators and visionaries. As a long time Smith fan myself, I can't help but stand up and give the creators of this short a hearty and sincere slow clap. Well done guys.
