Not like most Spaghetti Westerns
18 March 2014
When watching Italian westerns, you see a few trends in them, such as (1) limited to no language, (2) average run time of 1 30 minutes (this was 1:20), and (3)not-a-comedy serious movie. If you've seen My Name is Nobody, this might be a little similar. But that film was more of a family movie, and it had Henry Fonda in it. This one was like a Mel Brooks of westerns. At first, I thought it was just a silly movie, but the adult humor became evident, and I stopped watching after an hour. I don't have anything against goofy westerns, and some of the slapstick made me laugh a few times, but if you love westerns and want to share them with kids (I'm 18 but I wasn't the youngest one watching so I had to turn), I recommend My Name is Nobody. Just as goofy and It has Fonda.
