Four of us went along to see the film on the first day it was released and we were really excited as we all love the TV series. However, the whole thing was a big disappointment - we barely laughed. The plot was really stupid and we missed the interaction between Mrs B and her family in her own home - that is what we felt was the best part of the TV programmes. For us there was too much emphasis on the bizarre plot line which was just not funny. We enjoyed watching Robert Bathurst play the part of the barrister with Tourettes - he was really funny. Some of the scenes were just embarrassing, such as the final scenes in the courtroom. We think Mrs B should stick to the TV series which is what she does best!!!
