Nude Bowling Party (1995 Video)
6/10
Nude Bowling Party wasn't a strike. It was a silly turkey stuffed with shameless nudity.

This movie if you call it, a movie, isn't really anything, but nudity. It's porn for the gutter-minded. It's hard to be harsh on it, since after all: the movie did give what the title promise for. Directed by J.L Williams, its indeed bowled and the beautiful! The movie had some really beautiful nude women. First off, there is the model team made out of Teresa Politi AKA Teresa Langley & Taryn Carter AKA Francine. Teresa had that Southern belle charm that you can't help, loving. Her body looked like it had some work. Francine is the only one that seem to be exotic and ethical looking. I don't know, if she just happen to have a tan, but she's look Latina or Armenian. I kinda wish, there were at less, an Asian & a black girl added to the mix. Then you got the dancers team made out of Tammy Parks AKA Bambi & Jacqueline Lovell AKA Sara St. James as Barbie. Tammy Parks, the redhead by far was the worst bowler in the film as she might had been going for a gutter ball record. While, she's beautiful, she had one of the most fake looking bodies, I ever saw. Surprising Jacqueline Lovell is the best of them, all and also the person with the most success in her career after this film. She looks all natural. They're all beautiful, but gees… they suck at bowling. If you take away, the nude women here, you really get a really boring film as the nudity get tiresome fast. There is little to no challenge to their game. After 18 minutes of strip-tease. The film gets pretty dead, because there is no clothes left for them to take off. For the next 37 minutes; the film is just bowling shoe ugly, monotonous bowling. The movie is supposed to have Dancers Vs Models, but there is little to no differs, between them. The dancers rarely dance, and almost all the bowlers model for the camera. Supposedly, this bowling party was also a photo shoot spread for a porno magazine or something like the credits mention. The thing is, the presence of the photographers there, made the movie, a little less sexy. It made the film seem really slimy. It wasn't that funny to have them, around, anyways. Joe Pornofsky (Scott Spiegel) & Ivan Raimi as Joe's depraved assistant weren't that great as comic relief. Ivan Raimi, the older brother of director Sam Raimi, was so embarrassed with his role, than that he was credited as Alan Smithee Sr. Honestly, he look like a horny Stanley Kubrick in this film. Even the goofy, play by play announcers by Nick D'Antone (Tom Van Vlsingen) & Cliff Dyer (Power D) weren't really needed. It was a bit funny that they had to come into the game, to teach them, how to bowl, since the game was going so poorly. The game was interrupted time after time, by fake self-mockery commercials where the nude girls pitch fake products like law firms, and foot deodorizers. The silliest of them all, was the Security guard, Scott pitching pills. Most of the humor in the film were mostly misses than hits to the funny bone. The redundantly bouncy synthesizer score were annoying as hell. It was on repeat, way too long. The cheesy early 90s graphics show off, how low budget, it was. The best thing about the film is how much fun, it look like everybody was having. Nobody seem to be put off by it. It's hard to make bowling seem sexy. If you looking for a hardcore sex movie. This movie isn't that. It's has more of the soft core feel. There isn't a lot of close ups on the girl's private parts. Even their vaginas are somewhat cover by landing strip hair. For a movie about nude bowling party, it was pretty classy. There wasn't a lot of harsh language, and degrading of women, here. So thumb ups for that. Overall: I wouldn't say, this movie is an astonishing celluloid achievement of remarkable depth and significance. I wouldn't even say, that the movie makes a good underdog sport movie. I would say, if you ever wonder how low, shameless nudity can go. Here is the movie for you.
