Warning: Spoilers
This crime flick was one of the last ones made by the french movie industry for twenty years, before the arrival, in the 2000's, of Olivier Marchal. The predictable scheme of two men, a cop and a hood, in love with the same girl. The cop is Auteuil and Lhermitte the gangster. Unusual for Lhermitte to play such a character, and he's convincing here. Auteuil - the cop - is in charge to nail a dangerous killer - Bernard Pierre Donnadieu - also a big scale armed robber who prepares a big heist on an airport area. And as far as Lhermitte is the Donnadieu's partner, he will have to deal with his girl friend's betrayal in order to jeopardize Donnadieu's plans. With expected results.

But the overall work is rather well made, typical of the late seventies, early eighties.

From a Roger Borniche's novel.
