This is perhaps the most offensive film I have ever seen. I love a good sex comedy, and some raunchy comedies, but this film makes a joke out of sexual assault, child abuse and other behaviors which are simply not funny. Instead of finding humor in our common foibles, it rubs our faces in the most depraved, anti-social and cruel behavior.
I was perhaps alone in the packed movie house in which I saw the film. The rest of the audience loved it, including my brother-in-law, so clearly I am in the minority. As a filmmaker myself I know how hard it is to hold an audience's attention, so something has been accomplished here. But I cannot recommend against seeing this film strongly enough. It took me days to get rid the sick feeling it left in me.
