Did it really manage to end? I thought that this film was never going to end. Yes, I think this film has many qualities. It portrays family relationships so well during peace and quite of winter somewhere in Anatolia. I am sure that these days it is not so peaceful and calm in Anatolia with all these refugees streaming from Sirya and Iraq into Turkey. Turkey does not have such a calmness in it, it is more hectic and wild place then portrayed in this film. After all Istanbul alone has 12 million people.
I really do not think that this film is for a wider audiences. It is more an art film, and way way too long. It is for a narrow audiences who like these types of films.
