Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films is a wonderfully entertaining and informative look back at the rise and fall of Cannon Films and the two men behind the madness, Menahem Golen and Yoram Globus. The mix of films clips and stories from some of the people who were there is nicely done. While Cannon may have admittedly made a lot of really bad movies, after watching this, I may sit down and revisit some of my 1980s era movie memories. I have a new desire to re-watch movies like Missing in Action, Lifeforce, and Masters of the Universe. I doubt that was the intent of this documentary, but because it's had that affect on me, overall I'd say Electric Boogaloo works.

- I had forgotten just how rotten the special effects were in Superman IV. Just horrible.
- I wonder if Chuck Norris' career would have been as big as it has without Cannon. Would another studio have been willing or able to make some of Chuck's movies?
- I'm still amazed that anyone, even Golan and Globus, thought a movie about arm wrestling was going to do big box office numbers. A really ridiculous idea.
