Notarile and Lombardi keep delivering

Warning: Spoilers
"Krueger: The Slasher from Elm Street" is a 9-minute short film from last year and another addition to the prolific Freddy Krueger careers of the 2 guys I mentioned in the title. And the formula hasn't gotten stale yet. It's all about Freddy Krueger family guy in this one. We see him talk to his daughter about a magic show and then, near the end, we hear him comfort 2 parents who are worried because their son is missing. You can probably imagine what happened to him. The ending looked like there is more in store in the future and I'm curious about it. I also would not mind seeing Lombardi in a full feature, he is perfect for the part in my opinion. These short films do not necessarily score through great or new story lines, but just about how atmospheric and in-your-face they are. And there is almost some dark comedy to Krueger's innocent behavior. The title certainly could have been chosen better, but that is a problem with almost all of Notarile's takes on Krueger. Apart from that, good job and I recommend the watch.
