I really like this episode. I thought it was a great Series Premiere. It introduced the characters well, showed us how the show was going to continue, without it seeming boring, and it really just makes you want to watch the rest of the series. It's funny; I'm having a Bones marathon right now. I suggest you do the same.
In this episode, we meet Dr. Brennan, one of the world's most foremost forensic anthropologists, who works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington D.C. (a parody of the Smithsonian). She, along with the help of her super-smart team, Dr. Jack Hodgins, Dr. Zack Addy, and Angela Montenegro, and FBI Agent Seeley Booth, they solve the murders of victims, who are only left as bones. This episode's case: a decomposing body in a pond in the Arlington National Cemetery.
Fun fact: The scene where Dr. Brennan gets arrested was filmed at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Best part of the episode: Everything.
Overall, I give this episode an 8, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.
