Most prejudices removed!
7 March 2017
I know I'm late to the party reviewing this show, but I really wanted to give it my kudos!

Whether people realize it or not, they subconsciously express their prejudices due to a person's appearance. In this show, the possibility of not choosing a quality singer because of their long hair, being bald, too fat/thin, too old/young, etc., is eliminated...at least at the beginning of the show. But, at least that gives a good singer a chance who might have been rejected from the jump.

It's also nice to see the producers switch out the judges, except for the perennial Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. I've definitely liked some more than others, but the constant changing of the guard keeps things fresh. I'm just hoping the Stefani/Shelton relationship doesn't crash and burn during a 'Voice' season!

My only objection is I wish they wouldn't give established singers, meaning those who have already recorded an album or have been an opening act for another major performer, a shot on the show. The chances should be left to novices who need a break...not to someone who needs ANOTHER chance to make it.

Really enjoy 'The Voice' ~ Mark Burnett really got this one right!
