Though the scenes are a realistic portrayal of dating in the internet age (through lengthy typed conversations and waiting with bated breath for any sign of life on the other side), they are drawn out and could have been edited to lighten the pace of the film.
Despite the slow start, the remainder of the film is pleasurably paced as we watch them transcend initial awkwardness and intimacy grow through shared stories around the dinner table.
