Get Out (I) (2017)
9/10
One of the best horror movies I've seen!

Warning: Spoilers
I'm a big fan of horror movies, no matter what type they are even though I've had enough of the typical horror movies where I can tell the plot without even watching the movie. I thought this looked interesting when I watched the trailer and oh my, it was interesting indeed.

The movie is so unlike many of the other horror movies out there. It wasn't about getting sick to your stomach from gore or screaming from the jump scares. I felt like the key in this movie was the feeling of something being wrong, even though it was hard to tell exactly what. You had to stay alerted during the entire movie because everything had its own purpose for the plot. You got the depth of the characters without it being boring or taking up too much of the movie, many thanks to the dialogues that really sent shivers down the spine at some points.

I loved seeing Daniel Kaluuya as Chris, his way of expressing himself through his eyes was unbelievable. A lot of the things that made the movie good was his way of acting, not entirely through his words but his face, eyes, and body.

Not to mention Allison Williams as Rose, that was something to watch and I was impressed by her acting (and a bit disturbed as well). I loved how she went from bright and friendly to a maniac with a face of stone. The part where she was talking to Rod over the phone gave me chills, the way she sounded so worried and caring but her face was a total blank.

Overall, a very good movie!
