I liked Madam Secretary very much last season. Unfortunately this season the show is growing irksome, monotonous and over acted - leaning more soap opera like than interesting drama. Part of this problem may be the current real life political situation - Madam Secretary seems to go to great lengths to be positioned on the opposite end of the political spectrum: both this drama and the current U.S. administration are laugh inducing. Boredom is increasing for both, but I expect better entertainment from television.
