Two men venture into the wilds of Scotland for a weekend of deer stalking - and get more than they bargained for when one of them accidentally shoots a young boy. The misery escalates from there.
This downbeat thriller works much better as a suspense piece than a morality play, which it turns into in the final 20 minutes. But the drama's first two acts are admirably tense and clever, and I found myself being unable to get ahead of the story.
But, like so many thrillers, the resolution isn't nearly as satisfying as the build up.
