I was so immersed in the music, dancing and culture of the Romany people. I have read some of the reviews that say that not all Romanian people are poor and uneducated. I figured that out. The director was showing a rich culture and I think a tight knit culture that their music and dance bring together. It's an offbeat and a little bizarre movie and I will admit, not for everyone's taste, but I liked it.
