Nénette and Boni (1996)

Could be a good film If it was directed other way

The story is good on its terms but it should be told in a more dramatic way. The direction and the performers acting are too slack, some scenes are not well explained and turn out incomprehensible and even some characters appear now and then that we don't know what they are doing in the plot. Two siblings, brother and sister lived apart from each other when the sister (Nénette) decides to come home again after their mother's death. Their parents had divorced and the father is estranged althoug he now wants to renew with his children what they however reject. The relationship between the siblings is not sentimentally easy since the girl is pregnant and we don't know by whom nor how. Well it can be seen but it could be better.
