One of the most influential films ever made, changing the entire culture, not just film, is more than a bit of a bore. Starts off fine, but quickly slips into poorly done comedy, with little erotica to be found over the hardcore scenes that are played silent aside from a large jumble of (I think) original tracks made for the film and corny ragtime music. It's simply not a very good film, as hardcore or comedy despite its history. So really, this is more of a curio, your time is much better used watching the documentary "Inside Deep Throat". You get the history and you still see the main attraction of the film.
