This was made a good few years before Wes Craven's New Nightmare did a similar thing, mixing real life with his creativity, here it is mashed up into a proto Final Destination style demo about the dangers of microwaves, whiskey bottles and psychiatry.
Unrelentingly brutal and gory Fulci even has a poke at his critics while sawing off heads.
Not for the squeamish but worthy of consideration.
I would, however, like to understand why he seems to detest cats so?
