Is it good?
It's pretty good. Better than the first, a step back from Annabelle: Creation.
Is it scary? If you like jump scares. The movie is creepy and time is taken to build some dread before the scary stuff starts happening, but most of the frights are not memorable enough to stay on your mind after the movie is over. Props to the Ferry Man though, anything involving him was the most interesting part of the movie to me.
Should you watch it? If you're looking for a spooky movie that keeps things very basic. At times Annabelle Comes Home felt less like a cohesive narrative and more like a series of scary things happening with little in between. Teenagers doing dumb things is a major theme here, and some people are understandably tired of that trope. I don't mind it, but it doesn't exactly make me excited, either.
The ending was a bit anticlimactic, I was surprised by how simple it was. That kinda goes for the movie as a whole. It's decent, but I was hoping for more.
