One of the better ones

Do you get Harrison's Flowers, As Good As Dead, Ruby Cairo and The End of Violence confused? They all star Andie MacDowell, and in all four movies, her husband goes missing and she sets off to find him. Harrison's Flowers is one of the better ones, if you're able to tell them apart, so if you don't know which one to start with, try this one.

In this one, David Strathairn is Andie's missing husband. He plays a famous journalist believed to be killed in Croatia while covering the war. Andie doesn't accept the news, and she heads to Europe to find him. With Brendan Gleeson and Adrian Brody, Andie has a little bit of protection from the daily violence, since they know the area, but it's still a very dangerous place to go on vacation. There are car bombs, kidnappings, stabbings, and robberies all on a daily basis, and no one is really anxious to help Andie find David. If you're not squeamish and like this kind of war-torn environment in your movies, you might really like this one. The good news is you've got three others just like it you can rent afterwards!

Kiddy Warning: Obviously, you have control over your own children. However, due to violence, I wouldn't let my kids watch it.
