The first half of this movie is very beautifully done, but i could easily get as much entertainment and beauty from going to the beach or looking at a photograph and skipping all of the boring dialogue (none of which is relevant).
then all of a sudden this film has nothing to do with surfing or the beach but is rather about a disturbing and inappropriate relationship. i can't say it helped that pikelet looked extremely similar to a friend of mine. this movie truly ruined my day
