Dr. Syn alias the Scarecrow is in the best tradition of both Disney and folk heroes such as Robin Hood and Zorro. Patrick McGoohan is excellent in the role. I love the themes in the film, opposing oppressive taxation and involuntary service to government. Highly recommended.
