There is a really good film about cancer and it causes and cures entitled A Heavenly Vintage. The treatments and cures are self-evident in the imagery and symbolism. But the causes of cancer are depicted a little more subtly. If you will notice, the deterioration of the body is shown in the imagery of brown skin pigmentation or age spots. A clear sign. The most mysterious sign pertains to youth. The first harvest of the grapes was never equaled in refinement of taste, scent, and texture. And when the crop became contaminated, it was surgically removed by pulling up the plants or trees. The Baroness surgically removed her own cancerous breast. Overall, being aware of the ravages of time on life, from plants to people, is key in battling this disease. Keeping fit and eating a good diet is key, but it is only one facet of battling this disease. There is a window of time which enables the best outcome.
It is sad that Steve Jobs had no such awareness. I am thankful that he is no longer suffering. And my niece and brother took proper precautions. Thankfully.
